2. Design Language Analysis

Visual Style

  • Minimalist & Clean: The portfolio uses a standard Adobe Portfolio layout (likely “Ludwig” or similar theme) with a focus on large imagery.
  • Typography: Simple sans-serif fonts for readability.
  • Color: Predominantly white background with black text, allowing project colors to define the mood.

Technical Observations

  • Adobe XD Integration: Heavy reliance on Adobe XD for interactive prototypes, embedded directly via iframe.
  • Responsive Images: Uses Adobe’s dynamic image serving (cdn.myportfolio.com) which resizes based on viewport. We attempted to archive the highest resolution (rw_1920 or rw_3840) where possible.

3. Recommendations for Migration

  1. Preserve Prototypes: The Adobe XD embeds are still active and valuable. In the new site, these should be preserved either as iframes (if the links remain valid) or recorded as video walkthroughs to ensure longevity if the XD account is closed.
  2. Asset Quality: The 3D renders are high quality. These should be showcased prominently, perhaps in a masonry grid or full-screen slider.
  3. Case Study Structure: The existing structure (Context -> Process -> Result) is solid. We should enhance this by adding more explicit “Role” and “Tools Used” metadata for each project.
